Hey folks,

I am trying to install the latest Catalyst driver for my Mobility FireGL 5200. No luck so far :-( Since Mobility Modder itself doesn't really work with the latest Catalysts from what I read here, I tried to mod the .inf files myself the oldschool way.
I added:

"ATI MOBILITY FireGL V5200" = ati2mtag_M56, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_71C4&SUBSYS_200717AA

to both .inf files in the Display\Lh_inf directories.

Then I tried to update driver manually via device manager, I can pick the .inf file, Win7 shows me Mobility FireGL5200 in the list of devices, I pick it, it starts installing, but after a few seconds it tells me that the driver is not compatible with this version of windows .... how's that? Since it IS a Windows 7 driver, just with an added card in the .inf file?
Can someone of you guys that got 9.4 working with a mobility card on Win7 32 bit post a step by step guide? That would be really great :-)
