Re: Now on Steam - Dead Space

WTH? $50 US? That's the same price as the retail copy.

Don't get me wrong, Dead Space is a fantastic game, and worth every penny, but $50 US for a digital download? That's just wrong. Digital downloads are supposed to be cheaper.. not the same price as retail.

Re: Now on Steam - Dead Space

At least for UK customers that is true with all the new releases on steam and all the other similar companies. Yes, it is complete bullshit. More DRM, no hard copy, no manual or other goodies yet the same price.
I bet it's "piracy's" fault lol.

Re: Now on Steam - Dead Space

I think you don't pay taxes so it's a bit cheaper. You also save on gas.

Yes. At first it's a little hard getting used to the point of view as it's from an off-the-right-side close 3rd person view. Once you get used to that it's a whole hell of a lot of fun. However, I do recommend using a game pad (360 if you have it). The controls are a bit wonky on the PC version, and the game pad alleviates that.

That's great advice. I'll give it a go.

Re: Now on Steam - Dead Space

I just saw that it's now $39.99. It only took a week for the price to get $10 cheaper.
