The lastest in Square Enixs long running RPG series has been specifically developed for the Wii as opposed to the crossover title, Echoes of Time. The Crystal Bearers sees players taking control of Layle in an open world adventure. Layle a young mercenary protecting the new airship Alexis from monsters is reunited with an old enemy when they attack the vessel, sending him on a quest to save the world.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers will go on sale in the UK on 5th February 2010 and on 26th December 2009 for the Nintendo Wii
