The 9 vs 9 Multiplayer limit is set to cause upset for devoted players who were fond of the "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" system of up to 32 players.Infinity ward have given the reason for the decision as "The max number of players on all platforms are 1v1 through 9v9. This is the number of players we focused on when we were balancing map size, perks, classes, challenges, etc.," explained developer Mackey McCandlish.

IW stabbed us in the back with no dedicated servers, now they are twisting the knife with this news.

I am sorry but at IW must be morons. The only reason the game sold so much was the multiplayer aspect that kept sucking in more and more people to go and buy the game to play online with their friends etc. Now they are killing it. CLEVER! The game will never catch the numbers MW1 did.
