At a recent press event EA sat with some journalists and we spent some time with a beta version of the upcoming Command and Conquer 4 - the hotly awaited new strategy game which continues the long running (and big selling) franchise.

I appreciate the preview, but I won't be nice to the game. (am I ever?)
The game looks like shit. I am not talking about the graphics, but the gameplay. I am completely turned off by the change of focus away from a traditional RTS to this hybrid of...crap and light rts for people with IQ lower than 50 with ADD.

I am very excited for this game , the style and graphics look like my favorite RTS game RA3 unlike previous C&C games like C&C Generals. It may look silly and cartoonish but I find this more interesting than "realistic" style however for this kind of games.
looks like 2010 will be occupied with many great games

In the same time , I found Age Of Empires 2 on of the best historical realistic RTS ever made which considerd a point for Microsoft , anyway the closed the studio

I gave up on Command and Conquer. No hard feelings Kane...it's not you, it's me. The simple gameplay which made me an RTS fan doesn't satisfy me anymore.

Played across it some times but no much , although it looks pretty similar to AOE II , I prefer AOE II myself. It has something unique I enjoy in the gameplay.
