Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (PC) @ GH

Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena Review
__________________________________

Escape from Butcher Bay was loved by PC gamers the world over and today we take a look at the sequel which follows Riddick on his new journey. “They say hope begins in the dark ... The Darkness, for me, is where I shine.”

These first words introduce the player to the fact that Riddick is a night creature and operates best in total darkness. Anyone who has seen the movies will already be aware of his nocturnal nature but developer Starbreeze are keen to get an early reminder before the action heats up.

Re: Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (PC) @ GH

A good review. I remember the original game fondly. At the time, I wished that the developers had gone a little further with the non-FPS elements. The commentary mode (it was the first game to feature one, if I'm not mistaking) revealed that they'd thought about that, but they had been afraid that that would have made the game too demanding for the average FPS player. Apparently, their opinion of the gaming audience hasn't improved (or they were just lazy).

Great that they include a remake. I want to get this game.

however I read that the game has online activation, 3 activations limit and no way to revoke any of them...which means, warez!

Yes they do, don't they?
The movies were great, the second one is one of my favourite sci fi films ever.
