GH Review: Metal Gear Solid 4(PS3)

Metal Gear Solid has been one of the most popular franchises throughout gaming history and with the release of Guns Of The Patriots many Playstation 3 owners are hoping this is the exclusive title to finally put their console firmly on the map. Has creator Hideo Kojima succeeded?

Before i continue, due to restrictions from Konami there will be certain aspects of the game I can’t discuss, however as many of these are game spoilers I wouldn’t have approached them anyway, I never do. But being a regular Gaming Heaven reader, you already know this, right?

I hated this review....why? because I wasn't reviewing it! hahahaha! I am this site's biggest MGS fan without a doubt! I cannot wait for this game, took 2 days off work and hopefully my bro's XBR4 and home theatre comes in time for it!

Is it really THAT good? Damnit! Have to many unplayed games, but now I have to buy MGS4 also.

Plus need to get those 100% in GTA 4 :P

In my chats with our guy John yes it is that good. He says its one of the best games he has played, right with GTA4.

I might pick up a PS3 myself again next month with MGS4 and GRID, Unchartered.

I'm worried - he rates it one less than GTA4.......everyone knows that GTA4 was NOT a 99/100 game by any means

If this isnt better than GTA then i'll eat my words, but words fail me as to how it gets less than GTA!

its called personal taste, we all have it. reviewers are just people and as games are mainly subjective its hard to nail a percentage score for everyone. I had emails from people complaining that GTA4 should have received 100%.
